Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity and Consumers Energy are partnering on an energy savings program for single-family, income-eligible Consumers Energy customers. Qualified customers can receive FREE services that include an in-home or virtual assessment performed by a trained technician, a customized summary report with recommendations and may receive energy-saving upgrades like: LED Bulbs and Nightlights, Carbon Monoxide Detector, Water Heater Pipe Wrap, Programmable Thermostat, High-Efficiency Showerheads and Kitchen/Bathroom Faucet Aerators.

Setting up your Home Energy Assessment with Consumers Energy
Step 1: Navigate to www.ConsumersHelpingNeighbors.com and click the green Schedule Now button
Step 2: Choose the green Schedule button under In-Home Assessment
Step 3: On the next page, you will click the green button Verify Eligibility where you may either sign in to your existing Consumers Energy account, or Continue as Guest.
Step 4: Once your eligibility is verified, you will begin entering your information. On the Applicant Details page under Referrals and Promotions please choose Other from the drop down and enter SSRTB in the space provided. Complete your scheduling and you are all set!
