Thank you!!!

Thank you to Consumers Energy for volunteering at the Dow Neighborhood Revitalization held in the City of Saginaw on June 9-16 and for volunteering in Corunna on June 22-23.

Saginaw-Shiawassee Habitat for Humanity, along with support from Consumers Energy and Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA), will begin work to help repair the homes of mutliple local homeowners. The project is part of Habitat for Humanity’s Repair  program, an initiative funded by Consumers Energy and MSHDA to help repair the homes of local individuals and families.

“We are blessed to be are able to leverage funds from Consumers Energy and MSHDA with our own incredible volunteers to address the critical housing needs of those who are unable to afford to make these repairs on their own.”- Cameron Brady, Executive Director.

Habitat’s Critical Home Repair program supports projects ranging from new construction to home repair projects such as weatherproofing, installation of access ramps and kitchen or bathroom renovations for wheelchair access.
